For displaying the 3D inner structure of the whole core (diameter≤150mm) in the field of the petroleum geology, a 3D scanning equipment using CT technology was developed by Sanying precision.On the base of our own characteristic X-ray imaging technology, the whole core can be scanned nondestructively. Reconstruction of the 3D inner structure in the sample can be performed by using the tested data. The obtained 3D digital core data can be used to characterize the pore-throat structure, cracks distribution and orientation, minerals spatial distribution and the flow channel of oil/gas.
